In the name of God Amen. I Maryann Hardesty of the county of Fluvanna and the State of Virginia being in a very low state of health yet of sound mind and memory do make and ordain this to be my last will and testament in manner and form following
First I desire that all my just debts and funeral expenses be paid. Item I give and bequeath unto my beloved Niece Maryann M. Blincoe, daughter of Mark Blincoe (with whom I now live) the sum of Seven hundred and thirty six dollars together with the Interest which may have accred or may accrue thereon being the amount of a bond given by (blank) to me for the purchase of a negro girl named Flora which said bond if not collected is in the hands of W George Morris of the County of Louisa for my benefit it is my desire that my executor herein after named shall collect the said sum of money Interest & put the same on Interst in such hands as he may think safe until the said Maryann M shall arrive to the age of eighteen years old and then to be paid to her or to any person authorized to receive the same, but at the same time I do request my "executor or his Ex'tor' or Adm'or" to apply the Interest of said sum of money or as much as may be necessary to the use of said Mary Ann M as her necessaties may require for her education the discretion of my Exor' herein after named unless she should marry before she arrives-to that age then the said sum is to be paid to her or to any person authorized to receive it with whatever interest may be due and not appropriated to her and her heirs forever_
Item I give unto my nephew Grandville Blincoe son of the said Mark Blincoe my Tract of Land lying in the said County of Fluvanna adjoining the Lands of said Mark Blincoe and containing fifty acres be the more or less to him and his heirs forever
Item I give unto my sister Christine Parrott all my bed clothes and wearing apparel which she has in her possession to her & her heirs forever
Item I give and bequeath unto my sister Barbara Blincoe one [?] bed & furniture and all my bed covers together with my chest and my wearing apparel which is now in my possession living with Mark Blincoe her husband to her and her heirs forever
Item all the rest and residue of my estate both real and personal including all due me & money on hand I give and bequeath unto Thomas Blincoe son of said Mark Blincoe to him and his heirs forever Lastly I do constitute and appoint Walker Timberlake Executor to this my last Will and Testament hereby revoking all former will or wills by me heretofore made In Testamony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal this (?] day of January one thousand eight hundred & twenty
