Bro. Tom Spalding stressed horn helpful it will be to future generations if the family historians include more that just dates, etc. Things such as religion, organizations, military service, etc. a.11 add a great deal 1 to the story of a person and family. The more you immerse yourself in history, the more interesting it becomes.

His current interest-is the coats of arms above the doors at Blencow Hall. He had drawings of some of the Blincoe/Blencow Coats of Arms.

Don Blincoe commented on the Battle of Crecy in 1346 France and Adam de Blencow's part in it. He enlightened us with the early Virginia history of Blincoes in the 1600 and 1700's.

Julian Blincoe used a large map of Virginia to pinpont some of the Blincoe areas of residence and migration.

Homer Blincoe told of his recent visit to Blencow Hall in England. He had maps of England and gave directions for getting there by train and car. It is west of Penrith, England in the northeastern part of the Lake District.

Thirty-one of us had a delicious dinner at the hotel while the fastivies and visiting continued.

The sharing and visiting continued far into the night and started again over breakfast on Sunday until everybody reluctantly went their separate ways with a desire to meet again.
