Sunday July 8th at 12.00 noon: Assemble in Marston St Lawrence Church for a short thanksgiving service for the Blencowe family which will include a welcoming peal of the church bells by the Marston Bell Ringers. Lord and Lady Richard Wellesley have kindly invited those who would be interested to walk round the gardens of Marston House after the service and before lunch.
1 .00 pm: Buffet Lunch at Marston St Lawrence Village Hall. Tina Stapley, dressed as Lady Ann Blencowe, plans to be present to talk about her new book: The Receipt Book of Lady Anne Blencowe. Mrs Susanna Sitwell and her son, William, will act as guides. Those interested may like to read the article on pg 10 of our February edition ‘ The Blencowe - Sitwell Connection.’ The tour will be followed by tea and a walk round the gardens.
Monday July 9th at 12.30 pm: Buffet lunch at the Dragon School, Bardwell Rd, Oxford. This will be held in a marquee in front of the main school building. Parking is available in local streets or possibly the school car park. It is suggested that we leave cars at the Dragon School and catch the local bus to near Oriel College.

On Monday the cost for lunch and wine etc at the Dragon School will be £10. About 60 people have already expressed an interest in joining us. These should receive a form to confirm their attendancein this newsletter. I would ask for this to be returned to me + a cheque to cover expenses on either or both days. Transport and accommodation must be arranged individually by those attending on the two days.
I must again warn those planning to join us, that we clash on the Sunday with the British Grand Prix at Silverstone. Therefore the roads may be very busy and accommodation limited.
