Schenectady, N.Y., Sept 7 1902 In attempting to lift a keg of beer from a fire escape into a third-storey window tonight, Joseph Blenco fell to the ground and broke his back. He will die.
Roger Blinko found this bizarre death notice in New York Times 8 September 1902. It seems to have been printed before the subject had actually died. As Joseph does not appear on the database we'd like to hear from anyone who knows who he is and whose family he belongs to.
