Follow up on Blincoe, Blinkco and Blinco Spellings in Cambridgeshire
Maggie Goodall is a new member who has already struck gold through her Blencowe Families' Association membership. In June her Blincko cousins from Sydney, Australia, Glenn and Joy Johnson, just happened to be in Henley near where Maggie lives in Reading, Berkshire and they spent some time together. Maggie reports, ìThey had so much information and I couldn't help them at all but they left me with some interesting info and a very good contact in Cambridge. Jack Blencowe has filled in some gaps for me as I have for him.

In the February 2009 newsletter, Helen-Mary Blake wondered if anyone knew of descendants of Joseph Blinco b1816 in Hedgerley to Moses Blinco and Maria Jones. Joseph, who migrated in 1856, was the uncle of the brothers Alfred & Henry who came to Australia leaving a legacy of many descendants. Finally a descendant, Anthony Noonan, found the article on the Blencowe website and the two are now in touch.
