I have recently found your Blencowe Families' Association website and discovered the names of my Great Great Great Grandmother - Anne Blinco who married George Messenger and my Great Great Grandmother - Sarah Woodman who married George Messenger Jr. and their son Alfred George - my great grandfather who married Lousia Sarah Wilkinson. I had been looking for surnames for Anne & Sarah for a while and could not get far by looking at the online family research sites. Jane Barnie
I notice that your Ann Blinco was born in 1813 in Hedgerley and married George Messenger (a Cordwainer) in Fulmer on 8 April 1832. They had two children that we know of - Anne born in 1843 and Frederick born in 1839. We have quite a lot of members who descend from the Blincos of Hedgerely who'll be very pleased that we potentially have another. Anne
