Dear Cousins,
Save the date: Thursday, October 18 - Sunday, October 21, 2018 for our next B.F.A. Reunion. Niagara Falls area of New York State will be a wonderful location and our hosts Ed and Kathy Blinco will have more details in future newsletters. Travel agents are still advertising trips for 2018 at 2017 prices so - get planning.
A reunion in North America is an opportunity for families in the U.S.A. & Canada to plan mini-reunions for their immediate family within the larger membership group. In other words – contact your cousins and invite them.
The lead up to a regional reunion is an opportunity to tell your family stories of migration to your country, be it the USA or Canada. Promotion of our family history in that part of the world is very important. I would appreciate articles that address this.
It wasn't my plan to have a newsletter theme of Blencowes behaving untowardly - it has just turned out that way. However, it is hopefully an interesting change. A few of you will recognise your own ancestors and take pride in the fact that their misdoings help make up the rich tapestry of our family. After all you are not responsible for the wrong doings of your ancestors.
I have combined two long articles on Dr John Wallis into one short one. If you’d like the full documents, please email me. Thank you to members who have contributed articles. I certainly appreciate your contribution. Enjoy your newsletter.
