Sightseeing Parasailing ToursLet us chute you! This is the fastest elevator in town; whisking you from sea level to 130 metres in a matter of seconds. All our flights are a combination of parasailing and ocean or river cruise and last approximately 1 hour.

Parasail the easy way, with our Sightseeing Parasailing Tours. We operate an ultra modern cable/winch parasailing boat. It's easy and you do not have to get wet.

Once on board, we take you on a scenic tour to our allocated fly zones. We fit your harness, inflate the chute, once connected you are winched up into the air.

  1. Our scenic flight takes you to 60 metres and costs $60.
  2. For those that are not afraid of heights, try the Super Scenic at 120 metres elevation for $80.00.
  3. If you want to be even more adventurous try our Sports Xtreme flight, it goes to 120 metres for 12 to 15 minutes and costs $110 from here you can enjoy the spectacular views of Port Macquarie. Includes low flying, dunking, a freefall and Ports fastest elevator, 0 to 120 metres in a matter of seconds.

We carry up to 12 passengers, so your friends can join in and watch all the action in comfort. Observers are welcome, a small fee applies.

The Edge ExperienceKristine is interested in the shorter options from Edge Experience during the reunion. However, with numbers of people staying longer than the 3 days the full day activities are well worth considering. Half Day Mountain Bike and Morning Tea $50 Full Day Abseil and Mountain Bike Tour $85

Twilight Mountain Bike Eco tours $35.

Edge Experience has created an evening eco tour, incorporating an easy 2 hour circuit on flat terrain amongst protected nature reserves, a star studded night, and an abundance of wildlife. Tours include insect repellent, lighting, mountain bikes and safety accessories with pickup and return to your accommodation.

Comboyne Classic with Morning tea and Lunch $95

The Comboyne Plateau ride begins high in the Hastings hinterland district and meanders its way downhill through quiet country back roads. Descend at a leisurely pace through a variety of habitats or challenge yourself with exhilarating downhills, swales and single tracks. A full day Comboyne classic includes complimentary transport, bikes and accessories, smoko, lunch and a water bottle.

Wheels, Wine & Dine Tour $85

Your day begins at the summit of Bago Bluff National Park where your ride traverses a dramatic rock escarpment before an exhilarating down hill descent to level ground. The wheels, wine and dine experience completes at the Bago vineyards in a relaxing environment with superb table wines and quality live Jazz. Tours provide an assortment of local condiments, cold meats, wholesome bread and gourmet salads with a variety of cold refreshments and fortified beverages available at the cellar door.

Full Day Beginner Abseil $85

Edge Experience has created a full day beginner abseiling course for those with little or no previous abseiling experience. Abseils are conducted in progressive stages from a gentle 2metre ‘nursery boulder’ to an exhilarating 50 metres. While there is a strong emphasis on fun and adventure, courses are also designed to educate you in the correct use and applications of approved equipment, equipment maintenance and the numerous safety procedures required to safely conduct an abseil. A full day Beginners Abseiling course includes complimentary transport, all specialist equipment, lunch and smoko and instruction from your certified guide.

Full Day Advanced Abseil $150

As a prerequisite to this course you must have completed a Beginners Abseiling course or equivalent and have a reasonable level of fitness in order to traverse and descend largely untracked countryside. The feature event of the day is a jaw dropping 100 metre abseil off the top of the Comboyne H Knob where you will complete the day with a scenic 4WD transfer home. This package is not for the faint hearted, adrenalin pumping jumps, epic heights and larger than life freefalls are all in a wicked day's adventure!

Directions: All tours include a complimentary 4WD transfer from your local accommodation to your tour location.

Kayak ToursScuba Diving For those who already have a dive qualification www.scubahaven.com.au. Kristine is looking into other local dives.

Opinion: Ideal for overseas people wanting a true taste of the Australian bush; for $80 each a barbecue sausage sizzle can be included in the two hour option. The extra $5 probably is good value.

Macquarie Mountain Tours

Most tours are suitable for all ages however wheelchair access is limited. Any day is available for group bookings of 10 - 14 people.

Touring & walking through sub tropical & cool temperate rain forests. Visit the Wilson River reserve & Werrikimbe World Heritage National Park in a full air-conditioned 4wd Land Cruiser carrying up to 10 people.
We have half and full day tours with morning & afternoon tea /BBQ lunch a 4wd and water boat tour of the Hastings River then some of the local state forests & nation parks, waterfalls, wildlife, lakes coastline and also local winery tours.

Groups of up to 10. It seems numbers depend on actual tour - see website.

Half day tours Cost: Adults $50. $25 includes Morning or Afternoon refreshment.

Time 8am – 11:30am or 1pm – 4:30 daily & weekends

Day Trips Cost $75 and $50 and include Morning & Afternoon tea and BBQ lunch

Opinion: Good extra for people who are staying longer especially overseas visitors. They do pick up from the accommodation which is handy.
